Plings is about information on positive activities for young people.  We work with several local authorities, via the DCSF Information & Signposting Project, helping them to gather, manage and share information on places to go, things to do for young people.

This event is an opportunity for Local Authorities that have contacted Substance directly and expressed an interest in finding out more about the project or who are working with the Governments Youth Task Force.

The event will be a mix of keynote talks and presentations, alongside focussed breakouts.  Takeaways will include:

• An overview of the learning from the first 18 months of plings
• Guidance on how to get your information into plings
• Details on what tools and resources are available
• Practical steps and timescales of how to get involved in our  "Summer of Plings" initiative

Tickets are free and open to people in Local Authorities responsible for promoting positive activities. We will prioritise attendance to those on the copy list for the next seven days, at which time we will open up invitations to other LA's across the country and national voluntary sector networks. We are restricting tickets to one per organisation as we expect demand to be high. We would suggest booking as early as you can.
